Fabulous top-spec 1970s SG from CMI finished in classic cherry, with upgraded coil tapped EMG 81 bridge, and Seymour Duncan JN J neck humbuckers.
 
A vintage machine of superb quality here, featuring workmanship and a spec to rival Gibson's 70s SGs. There's full mahogany construction, a dark rosewood fretboard with block mother of pearl inlays, open-book headstock and quality vintage Gotoh tuners.
 
Nestled in those foundations are two belting coil tapped pickups. The EMG 81 needs no introduction. Suffice to say, this thing has shaped the sound heavy metal. Notable players include Kirk Hammett, Zakk Wylde and Steve Lukather, among many others.
 
The Seymour Duncan JN at the neck, is another legendary pickup. Short for Jazz Neck, it's a pup that offers bright, clear tones that are ideal for adding clarity to neck position leads, clean rhythm playing, or brightening up, deep sustainful guitars.
 
This guitar is offered in superb condition for age with only minor wear commensurate with fifty years in the game. The frets are in good shape and it plays very well indeed.
 
It has also been treated to a full String Theory service that includes strings, fretboard treatment, action setting, electrics check and a deep clean.
