1970s Japanese Onyx Strat finished in deep three-tone sunburst.
 
A vintage guitar of character and charm here. Made with skill in the illustrious Chushin Gakki plant, this guitar, made for the Australian & Canadian market is an exceptionally rare find in the UK. It boasts a full sized solid tonewood body, along with a period large 70s Fender style headstock & bullet truss rod mechanism, three way switching, a gloriously playable gloss maple neck and three beautifully voiced single coil pickups.
 
You'd be hard pressed to find a better vintage Strat.
 
This guitar is offered in good condition for age. All original, with only minor wear including causing some small scuffs and a sticker shadow set against the naturally aged scratchplate. The switch tip is missing and there are a few bumps and blemishes commensurate with fifty years in the game. The frets are in good shape with only minor wear. It plays and sounds great.
 
It has also been treated to a full String Theory service that includes a fresh set of D'Addario strings, fretboard treatment, action setting, electrics check and a deep clean.
