Stunning 1980s MIJ Stratocaster finished in rare Metallic Burst.
 
A vintage Japanese Strat of superb quality here. Beyond that fabulous aged burst finish, there's a beautifully worn maple neck and two belting rail pickups in that black scratchplate, controlled by a single volume control. This loaded plate seems to be an upgrade to the original and it's a worthy one at that. Up top, there's a set of Wilkinson tuners and a smoothy operational 70s bullet truss rod mechanism.
 
This is a guitar that sounds just as good as it looks.
 
It's offered in fair condition with wear commensurate with forty plus years in the game.
 
There are a few unobtrusive bumps and blemishes as you'd expect. The frets are in good shape and it plays and sounds great.
 
It has also been treated to a full String Theory service that includes strings, fretboard treatment, action setting, electrics check and a deep clean.
