A fabulous vintage arched-top jazz guitar from Hondo finished in natural maple.
Modelled on Gibson's legendary L5, this is an excellent tribute. Features include full bound maple set neck construction, an ornate tailpiece design, upgraded Grover tuners, block inlays and two humbucking pickups, including an upgraded Wilkinson 'bucker at the bridge.
This is a fine jazz machine that punches way above the modest price.
This guitar is offered in fair condition for age with some wear including a slight bow to the top on the bass side. This is cosmetic and doesn't affect either the tone or playability.
It has also been treated to a full String Theory service that includes strings, fretboard treatment, action setting, electrics check and a deep clean.
Viewing is always advised and very welcome by appointment in our Bristol studio. Further pictures also available on request as well as a condition report.
