1991 Washburn Wing Series SB20 finished in deep trans-red.
 
Arguably one of the most beautifully designed series of electric guitars ever made, the Washburn Wing Series is an increasingly rare, and effortlessly classy range.
 
Developed from the original 1978 design, this Wing SB20 from 1991 is a superb example, produced in Korea at peak of the Korean luthiery boom. Beyond the iconic symmetrical double cutaway design, there's a beautifully carved mahogany through-neck, two high output Washburn Eliminator open coil humbuckers, beautifully set pearl bullseye fretboard inlays, hard-tail string-thru bridge and solid ash construction.
 
A real treat of a vintage machine.
 
This guitar is offered in good condition for age. Cosmetically great, with only minor wear. The bridge volume pot is very stiff, so may need attention. A replacement truss rod cover is loose. It plays and sounds superb.
 
It has also been treated to a full String Theory service that includes strings, fretboard treatment, action setting, electrics check and a deep clean.
