Early 2000s Johnson by AXL Stingray Bass Guitar finished in aged white & maple.
Made with finesse by AXL, a company subcontracted to make Fender's Squier guitars in the 2000s, this AXL Stingray design represents their top-spec bass range and comfortably go toe-to-toe with any affordable basses on the market.
Bringing all the iconic bottom-end clout of the legendary Music Man Stingray at a fraction of the cost, this bass from the 2000s is a gem. The chunky double coil bass pickup nestled in a resonant solid-wood body takes the sound of this bass from smooth and mellow traditional bass guitar tones all the way to super-funky contemporary grooves. Moreover, that iconic aged white/black/maple aesthetic is a delight to behold, along-side some subtle corrosion to the chrome hardware.
This bass is offered in good used condition for age, with only minor wear including some small imperfections to the finish, and the tarnishing to the chrome hardware. It plays and sounds spot-on.
This guitar also benefits from a full service that includes strings, fretboard treatment, action setting and electrics check.
