A blinding Les Paul-style riff machine with a spec the envy of guitars twice the price.
Made for maximum playing comfort and high octane tone, this guitar takes that iconic single cutaway Les Paul blueprint and develops it with addition of a 13.75" fretboard radius, jumbo frets and some nifty body contouring.
Backing things up is still the traditional Les Paul groundwork. Namely solid mahogany construction, an ebony fretboard and fulsome humbucking tone, but the thinner body and slim neck-join, together with the sculpted lower horn, offer unencumbered access to the higher frets and thus a freedom of movement at the top-end of the fretboard better suited to more technical playing styles.
Plugged in, the two high output Chapman Stentorian Zero humbuckers deliver lashings of gut-pounding chug and the split-coil sounds (accessed via the push-pull tone control) are a versatile touch. Indeed the bridge 'bucker demonstrates an uncanny ability to mimic some country-style Tele twang.
Visually, this guitar is a charming thing. There's nothing quite like a white Les Paul, and this devilish iteration is enhanced by some natural mahogany edging, subtle inlay work up that deliciously dark massacar ebony fretboard and the stand-alone chrome pickup covers.
Modern in design, with a nod to the past, this is a superb guitar that doesn't cost the earth.
It's also offered with a hard case from Stagg.
This guitar is offered in excellent condition with only very minor signs of use. It plays and sounds superb. The hard case is fully functional with some wear including one bump to the top, concealed by a sticker.
It has also been treated to a full String Theory service that includes strings, fretboard treatment, action setting, electrics check and a deep clean.
