The daddy of affordable Fender tone has been overhauled. Now including a raft of upgrades and tweaks, this Indonesian-made guitar resides at the top of the pile in looks, playability and affordable tone.
 
Right off the bat, this guitar features a sculpted poplar body that provides plenty resonance. Providing a lovely counterpoint to the blue, we have a satin-finished maple neck with a comfortable ‘C’ shape profile, and a maple fretboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. It also boasts a 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles, a synthetic bone nut and sealed die-cast tuning machines with split shafts that provide super-accurate tuning.
 
Sonically, it has three scorching single-coil pickups that belt out plenty of that iconic Stratocaster sound.
 
This guitar sounds every bit as good as it looks.
 
The amplifier from Behringer is a punchy little unit featuring two channels and a three band EQ, along with an audio input and a headphone jack.
 
There's also a deluxe gig bag from Ordo, a cable and a strap.
 
The guitar is offered in good condition. Fully functional and playing very well, there a couple of minor bumps. The frets are in great shape and it sounds excellent.
 
It's also been treated to a full set-up that includes a fresh set of strings, fretboard treatment, action setting and intonation adjustment.
