The daddy of affordable Fender tone has been overhauled. Now including a raft of upgrades and tweaks, this Indonesian-made guitar resides at the top of the pile in looks, playability and affordable tone.
 
Right off the bat, this guitar features a sculpted laurel body that provides plenty resonance. Providing a lovely counterpoint to the sunburst finish, we have a satin-finished maple neck with a comfortable ‘C’ shape profile, and a maple fretboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. It also boasts a classic style 6-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles, a synthetic bone nut and sealed die-cast tuning machines with split shafts that provide super-accurate tuning,
 
Sonically, it has three scorching single-coil pickups that belt out plenty of that iconic Stratocaster sound.
 
This guitar sounds every bit as good as it looks.
 
The amplifier from Fender is a punchy little unit featuring two channels and a three band EQ, along with an audio input and a headphone jack.
 
There's also a Fender gig bag, quality cable and a strap.
 
The guitar is offered in good condition. Fully functional and playing very well, there is one unobtrusive bump to the rear. The frets are in great shape and it sounds excellent.
 
This guitar also benefits from a full set-up that includes a fresh set of strings, fretboard treatment, action setting and intonation adjustment.
