Beyond that stunning quilted maple top, there's Ovation's built in CP-100 slimline pickup and a powerful OP-4CT preamp. These combined with the Lyrachord body mean that this guitar is crisp and punchy through an amp or unplugged.
 
Another welcome inclusion are Ovation's Multi Soundholes. This innovative construction uses several small openings at the edge of the guitar top instead of a single, central sound hole. This means the available vibration surface in the centre of the soundboard is increased. Moreover, the sound comes out much closer to the ear of the person playing.
