2022 PRS Core John Mayer Silver Sky finished in Moc Sand Satin Maple, with gig bag and documentation.
Labelled by Guitar World magazine as 'a phenomenon...the guitar that broke the internet' upon its release in 2018, the Mayer-designed Silver Sky is a peerless piece of guitar design that combines Fender's timeless Stratocaster tones, with PRS's inimitable player-friendly workmanship.
Unsurprisingly, this guitar immediately became one of the industry's best selling guitars and was included in GW's list of the 50 best pieces of guitar gear of the century.
This example, finished in glorious Moc Sand Satin & maple, is a jewel. It boasts solid contoured alder beneath that luxurious satin finish, a satin maple neck, carved to PRS's special 635JM shape, and a fretboard honed to 7.25" radius and adorned with those iconic J-Bird inlays.
Nestling in that scratchplate are three specially designed John Mayer 635JM single coil pickups which belt out a satisfyingly full and rounded single coil sound.
The reverse headstock shape has been inverted to to both accommodate Mayer's playing style and also to keep a consistent length of string behind the nut, to aid tuning.
There's also a bone nut, a specially designed molded jack plate and PRS's double action truss rod.

This lovely thing is offered in immaculate condition with no discernible wear. It plays and sounds as great as you'd expect.
It has also been treated to a full String Theory service that includes strings, fretboard treatment, action setting, electrics check and a clean.
