An electric guitar with a difference. This rather lovely trans-purple acrylic Stratocaster boasts upgraded HSS electrics that include a high output Knee Jerk humbucker at the bridge, along with two lovely unidentified single coils above.
 
The Axesrus Knee Jerk is a fabulous thing, wound in that sweet spot between 7k and 8k, it'll take whatever you can throw at it, from pop through to hard rock and every thing in between. The magnets, having slightly less pull then the modern alternatives, lend a slightly top heavy edge to the overall tone, and help ring every last ounce of sustain out of any guitar.
 
Besides the electrics, this is a solid, workhorse of a guitar, with quality hardware and a comfortable neck topped with rosewood & 21 good frets.
 
It's a fine head-turning Strat, offered at a tidy price.
 
This guitar is offered in fair used condition with some bumps and blemishes commensurate with age. The scratchplate is also anchored (securely) with only four screws while the plate is slightly raised on the knob-side. The frets are in good shape and it plays well.
 
It has also been treated to a full String Theory service that includes strings, fretboard treatment, action setting, electrics check and a deep clean.
