1991 Fender Squier Standard Stratocaster Ebony

1991 Fender Squier Standard Stratocaster finished in classic ebony.

A Strat with bags of vintage charm. Put together in one of the fine Korean factories, this guitar is a little gem.

These late '80s/early '90s Squiers are famed for the comfort and finish up the neck. This one doesn't disappoint with the vintage-tint gloss maple mellowing to a slightly satin sheen. There's also a full-sized body unlike the later Affinity models, making this great as a modding platform. The three single coil pickups sound superb, with plenty of that distinctive Stratocaster bite. There's also some rather lovely natural aging to the plastics.

This guitar has also been subject to an in-depth electrical overhaul prior to our stewardship. This includes a replacement jack socket, re-soldering and cleaning all switch connections.

Condition: Besides the natural wear, this guitar is offered in great condition for age. There are some very minor dings to the edge. The frets are in excellent shape. Tremolo arm is missing.

This guitar also benefits from a service that includes strings, fretboard treatment, action setting and electrics check.
